C2 - Learning activity for students in Nynäshamn – 5th to 9th of November 2018

IDCA, C2, was performed between the  5th and 9th of november in Nynäshamn.  It was a learning activity and each adult center paticipated with two teachers and six students.

On Monday the groups visited NKC, Nynäshamns Kompetenscentrum for a short introduction of the school and the program for the week.

The formal opening of the learning activity was initiated on Tuesday and took place on the 7th floor in the municipal house. A presentation was made of Nynäshamns Kompetenscentrum, of the IDCA-project and the program for the week. The participants had also during the opening the opportunity to look at Nynäshamn, especially the port area from above due to their place on the 7th floor.bAfter that a guided tour by bus around Nynäshamn was performed. The participants learned during that toor more about Nynäshamn today and before.

After lunch NKC trained and implemented powerpoint as a digital tool to use by the students when they further on in the project will describe their own technological life story.

On Wednesday CEPA Buitrago performed a training session about Padlet. Another digital tool to use for the students in their work.

Later that day the whole group visited the Vasa museum in Stockholm where they could see and learn more about the worlds largest well preserved old ship. In the evening the group learned more about Stockholm, for example about the Royal Palace and the Old Town.

On Thursday the Educational Center of Joniskis performed a training session about Movie maker as the third digital tool to be used by the students when the will describe their own technological life story. After that the group took part in en event at Tom Tits Experiment in Södertälje where they competed in doing techonlogical experiments and also was more welded as a group.

C2 was finished on Friday with evaluation of the week and planning of the next steps in the project and of the next meeting, M3, in Buitrago, Spain. The students will now start working at home with their own technological stories.

M3 in Buitrago will be a the last meeting with the management group. It will take place preliminary between the 5th and 9th of february 2019.
