C1 - Short-term joint staff training event 1st Learning Activity in Spain (C1) – 11th to 15th of June 2018 in Buitrago del Lozoya

From the 11th to the 15th of June we met in Buitrago del Lozoya (Madrid, Spain) to celebrate the first Learning Activity (C1)of the project. It was a “Short-term joint staff training event” where each organization taught the others two digital tools. We either learnt or taught the following:  VoiceThread, PowerPoint, MovieMaker, Publisher, Padlet and Piktochart. 

The teachers participating in the activity also had the opportunity to get to know a little bit about the medieval city centre of Buitrago and its surroundings (Valle del Lozoya, Rascafría, etc), including the Picasso Museum in Buitrago. We also enjoyed a quick trip to Madrid.

Everyone was surprised by how green the mountains were and how it was less hot than expected. 

We also had the time to decide about how to teach these digital tools to our students, and how to organize the next Learning Activity (C2) that will take place in Nynäshamns Kompetenscentrum in autumn.

We are looking forward to next year, when our students will take an active part in the project.
